NSS Volunteers of G.H.G. Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar, Ludhiana organized an enlightening campaign titled 'Jago Grahak Jago' in its adopted village Patti Dhaliwal. The campaign aimed to raise awareness among students and the local community about their rights and responsibilities as consumers. The campaign was organized by the NSS unit of the College to align with the national consumer awareness initiative by the Government of India. The locals were provided awareness about the Consumer Protection Act, redressal mechanisms, and the importance of being informed consumers. The campaign also sought to empower participants to recognize and act against unfair trade practices and fraudulent activities.
