G.H.G. Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar celebrated Language and Cultural Week as per the directions of Department of Higher Education, Punjab. A National level webinar on the topic "Adiapan Vich Kavita te Bal Kahani di Mahatta" and a Punjabi Sulekh competition was organized on November 07, 2020 in this regard. Dr. Darshan Singh Aashat, Shromani Bal Sahitkar, Punjabi University, Patiala and Sh. Sandeep Sharma, Lecturer , Govt. Senior Secondary School, Koodani, Ludhiana were resource persons on the occasion. Dr. Darshan Singh deliberated on the topic "Bal Kahani di Mahatta" while Sh. Sandeep Sharma talked at length about "Jiwan Vich Kavita da Mahatav". The webinar started by reciting the College Shabad followed by formal welcome of all the participants and the resource persons by Principal of the college Dr. Pargat Singh Garcha. More than 100 participants including students and teachers attended the webinar while more than 250 participants took part in the Sulekh competition. Dr. S.S Thind, Secretary, College Governing Council lauded the efforts of the faculty and students for the successful completion of the webinar. Dr. Jagjit Singh, Asst. Prof. Punjabi Department was the organizer of the event.
