G.H.G Khalsa College of Education organized an extension lecture on the topic "Latest Trends in Education and Research" on Sept. 14th, 2018. Dr. Mandeep Kaur Kochar, Associate Prof., Bombay Teacher Training College, Colaba, Mumbai was the resource person on the occasion. Principal Dr. Sarbjit Kaur Ranu accorded a warm welcome to her and also highlighted her achievements in the field of education. Dr. Mandeep in her lecture highlighted the concept of "Learning" by focusing on its various types. She also deliberated on the various types of teachers and people along with their significance in one's life. An interactive session was held during the lecture in which students were made to complete a performa on Different Learning Styles: Visual, Audio and Kinesthetic. The lecture was attended by Dr. H.S Brar, Registrar, G.H.G Khalsa Colleges along with all the faculty members and the students. Dr. Manu Chadha, Associate Prof., presented vote of thanks at the end of the lecture.
